NYC NIGHT SHOTS

NYC in the beginning of February is very cold. Especially at night. Unfortunately, this is when my birthday falls. But I make the best of it. We went to the Metropolitan Museum and walked through centuries of history and art. When the day wrapped up, these were the shots I took while walking back to the parking garage. I didn’t really have a theme in mind when taking these pictures. Like always, I always tend to find benches and lights/light poles to photograph. But, this was also the beginning of attempting night photography. I tried playing with the limited lights when they weren’t available and tried to favor shadows whenever possible.
